A global diversified bank encountered major process efficiency issues across its strategic planning value chain; notably with a 90/10 “data processing” (90) vs. “value-added analytics” (10) activities breakdown.

Approach

  1. We performed a capability assessment encompassing all planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

  2. On that basis, we defined and instilled the vision of “Strategic Planning Function as Business Partner”.

  3. We redesigned the processes, organization, and governance.

  4. Finally, we implemented the change and designed a major upskilling program in line with the transformation ambitions.
